Sexual and reproductive rights

Sexual and Reproductive Rights recognize a person’s faculty to make free decisions about his/her sexual life and his/her reproductive capacity. They entail the exercise of sexuality and sexual orientation free of discrimination, coercion or violence, as well as access to information about the body, education and sexual health. The exercise of these rights implies the possibility and capacity of deciding whether to have children, under conditions that enable free and safe choices.
They are supported in the recognition and respect for universal human rights and the guarantees set in our National Constitution, in the Capital City and in the international covenants and treaties signed and ratified by the State.
Sexual and Reproductive Rights are an essential condition to exercise a full citizenship.
